The Button component in Mition is used to insert a clickable link within an email template. It allows users to guide recipients toward a specific action—such as visiting a webpage, registering for an event, or accessing a resource—with a clearly labeled and styled button.

When configuring this component, begin by selecting Button from the component library. The interface displays a visual representation of the button and labels it clearly. If needed, users can click “CHANGE TYPE” to switch to a different component.

The Custom Style Override dropdown lets users apply a unique style to the button, overriding the default styling set on the overall template. This is useful for aligning the button with brand colors or emphasizing it within the layout.

Under the Fields section, users can define the button’s behavior and appearance:

  • Button Text: This is the label that appears on the button (e.g., “Know More,” “Register Now,” “Reset Password”).
  • Button Link: This is the destination URL that the button will open when clicked. It can point to any webpage, form, or resource.

The button is fully responsive and can be styled for size, color, alignment, and padding. It supports click tracking if enabled in the template settings, allowing senders to monitor engagement and measure performance.

This component is ideal for:

  • Driving traffic to landing pages
  • Encouraging event sign-ups
  • Linking to member portals or help desks
  • Promoting content like newsletters or publications

The Button component is a powerful tool for guiding user interaction and enhancing the effectiveness of your email communications. When used strategically, it turns passive reading into active engagement.
