The Social v3.0 (Footer) component in Mition is designed to integrate social media links directly into the footer of your email templates. It provides a polished and professional way to connect recipients with your organisation’s online presence while maintaining a clean, structured layout at the bottom of the message.

When selected, the interface identifies the component type as “Social v3.0 (Footer)” and displays an icon representing a footer layout with social media icons. Users can click “CHANGE TYPE” to switch to a different component if required.

A Custom Style Override dropdown is available, allowing users to apply a unique style that differs from the overall form or template. This is particularly useful for adjusting icon colour, background style, or alignment to match your brand guidelines.

Under the Fields section, users can configure:

  • Facebook URL
  • Twitter (X) URL
  • LinkedIn URL
  • YouTube URL
  • Website URL (optional, depending on configuration)


Each field corresponds to a social media icon. If a URL is entered, the icon will appear in the email and link directly to the specified profile. If left blank, the icon will not be displayed, ensuring a clean and tailored selection of platforms.

This component is best used for:
